This local restaurant is within walking distance of my home, my kids love love love the scrambled eggs so it is a regular stop for us on a Sunday to enjoy great food always served by friendly staff

Food is very good at reasonable price and the menu is quite extensive and well designed. Very friendly and accommodating staff, to be highly commended. Easy enough parking too, and the booths by the window are great. Will return!

Anniversary Meal. Lovely restaurant in Saggart Village beside Citywest Hotel on the outskirts of Dublin. Beautiful setting, friendly staff and smashing food. Will return.

Wonderful Dining Experience!!. We happened upon Anvil our first night in Dublin. What a treat! The food was so good! Hubby had the tomato plate appetizer and cod- he loved it! I had fettuccine alfredo with chicken - just amazing! Such a great experience!

I could review the Anvil every week or 2 !! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, I've had plenty of them all.. and just had lunch again yesterday with family and as ever it was great! Love the place!

Beyond Excellent - Should have Michelin Star. Ate at Anvil in old quarters in 2011 and now in new large restaurant 2012. WOW! I have dined in 4 star Michelin restaurants in France, in USA and this is right up there with them.

Love ❤️ the Anvil I have been here many times both in the old Restaurant and now their current location it's always been enjoyable food delicious ? staff friendly would highly recommend this lovely place we had my sons First Holy Communion Party there and he loved it

The Anvil is the best restaurant in the Tallaght and Saggart Area the food is delicious. I have been there on several occasions and was never disappointed, that includes breakfast, their smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are to die for. Lunch of Caesar salad could not be faulted and the lamb shank when it is on the menu is delicious. The staff aware always friendly even when they are rushed of their feet but always have a smile and a pleasant word without being intrusive

We had dinner here last night and it was our 3rd time visiting. It was delicious!! We both had the Anvil chicken curry for main and it was so nice!! Lots of chicken pieces and the mini nan bread is perfectly portioned. We will defo be going for a 4th visit and can't wait!!!! Desserts to die for too!!

Had a meal in the Anvil on Saturday. Had the fish for main course it was done to perfection. Absolutely mouth watering. I have eaten in many restaurants over the years and have to say this has been the best. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the staff were very courtious, friendly and extremely efficient as we're the owners who were on hand. If I could give 10 stars I would. I Would Highly recommend The Anvil and will continue to to everyone I meet and know.

Went to Anvil last night with my husband. The selection for starters was just perfect the mains were very tasty. The main course was delicious, with a decent sized serving, the steak was beautiful just cooked perfectly very Reasonable prices and would recommend to anybody and would go back no problem.

Have eaten at the Anvil a number of times as it is close to work for Lunch. Stopped in for Dinner last week and the food, Service and atmosphere were perfect as usual.

Came here for dinner last Thursday as I was recommended by a friend to try The Anvil. What a gorgeous restaurant. The buzz of the place felt like we were in the city. It's great to have a restaurant like this in Saggart so that you dont have to go into the city to get a good atmosphere. Food was really impressive and the service was amazing. Staff were so friendly and attentive.

I brought a friend here for lunch. She had not been to The Anvil before, was very impressed and intends visiting it again soon. Food and service were excellent as usual.

I had not visited in about 6 months but was delighted my trip. Friendly welcome, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The addition of the High Protein menu is super! Tuna steak was amazing, Hoisin duck very tasty without being too fatty and the sneaky slice of After Eight cheesecake was incredible! Will be back a lot sooner this time!
